The German company Ambau GmbH, leader in the building of in-offshore wind towers has installed the 6° machine Sertom, an hydraulic bending machine mod. EMO 30-160 EMO, in Cuxhaven. The machine has been successfully commissioned and is working perfectly for the production of monopile for wind tower offshore. In four months the 7° machine mod. EMO 30-160 will also be installed always for the production of parts of wind tower offshore. Another success for Sertom that has demonstrated once again to be the leading supplier of bending machine used for the production of wind towers.
Download the following video of our great event, during which we have celebrated our 50 years activity and tested our bending machine EMO 40-190.
We would like to thank you all our customers, distributors and supplyer that join us at the open house on 30th November 2010.
A thank you note at the end of our successful exhibition
It ended our successful exhibition EuroBLECH 2010, the world largerst technology exhibition for sheet metal working, held in Hannover (Germany) from 26th to 30th October 2010.
Sertom taking this opportunity to express its thanks and gratitude to the numerous customers who visited our stand (C28 Hall 15) and all its distributors.
Sertom history, bending machines production
Our company was born in May 1960, named "BSB"; it was lead by Mr. Tommaso Seravesi and two other partners.
In 1964 he started building bending machines manually driven.
In the first 60ies Mr. Tommaso Seravesi conceived the manufacturing of a motorised equipment, that was big, modern and technologically advanced; he created the mythical pyramidal bending machine "Mary": a real innovation.
Thanks to the frame embracing the whole motor and gears and to an electrical control panel, it was a great success for the workers safety and an industrial terget of great importance.
In 1962 Tommaso Seravesi gives another name to the company, SERTOM, starting to export machines all over the world.
In the first 70ies the creativity of the technical dept brought the project of the first hydraulic bending machine: thanks to a constant research, together with the co-operation of the technician and of the supplier of hydraulic products, Sertom realises the first hydraulic parallelism system in Europe, like the bending machine 4000x90mm sold to company American Tank, Ohio, that is still working.
In 1981 Sertom realises a machine 4000x110mm for the Korean company Hyundai, dominating the world market as leader in the manufacturing of big dimensioned bending machines; in fact also the company Daewoo, the first Hyundai competitor, had to avail themselves of Sertom for the realisation of one of the biggest bending machines ever built, 4000x160mm.
In the 90ies the productive challenge becomes harder and Sertom doesn't miss any occasion to distinguish for the steadiness of its machines and for the never-ending search of high quality.
